Congestion at Port Botany 28.10.2008
A combination of weather conditions, plus IT issues at Port Botany caused delays in truck turn around times last week. High winds shut down the Terminal for many hours and delayed the unloading and departure of vessels. This compounded with the arrival of new vessels led to heavy congestion at Port Botany again yesterday & today, as volumes at the Terminals increase.
